Today, we will outline how to reset your User ID and Password on your My Access Florida Account, as well as what information can be retrieved in your My Access Florida Account. The Automated Community Connection to Economic Self Sufficiency (Access) Florida system allows benefit recipients to connect with their public assistance information 24/7, through the online application and My Access Account. The Access program helps promote financially self-sufficient communities by determining eligibility for food, cash and medical assistance for individuals and families working towards economic recovery. The program is managed on the local level by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Some requests that can be completed within your My Access Florida Account include applying for assistance (food assistance, temporary cash assistance, medicaid), checking on the status of your assistance application, reporting a change, requesting additional benefits, and information regarding your current benefits. You’re also able to obtain information regarding your EBT Card such as your benefit delivery schedule, EBT card balance and EBT transaction history. This information is available to you 24 hours a day, seven days per week, when you use your online account. In addition, you can also submit requested verification to the department using the document upload feature.

If you have forgotten your My Access Florida Account User ID or Password, you can retrieve that information by following the steps:

If you forgot your User ID – please click the following link. You’ll be asked a series of information including your name, birth date, case number, zip code and payee information. Be sure to have this information ready because you will need it in order to retrieve your User ID. Once this information has been filled in, click the Next button. You will then be provided with instructions for retrieving your User ID.

If you forgot your Password – please click the following link. You’ll be asked to enter your User ID to begin the password reset process. Be sure to have this information ready because you will need it in order to retrieve your Password. Once this information has been filled in, click the Next button. You will asked to answer some security questions. Once this has been completed, you will be provided with instructions for choosing a new password and completing the password reset process.
